A meeting between representatives of more than 20 major charity and volunteer organisations and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine took place on 8 February 2023. The event’s purpose was to say thanks for comprehensive assistance and reward volunteers for their invaluable contribution to the future victory of Ukraine. The “Breathe” Charity Fund was among those who received an award from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for significant achievements in professional activity and conscientious work.
Minister of Health Viktor Liashko highlighted the titanic work of those present and expressed his gratitude: “Each of us realises what hard work and responsibility stand behind collecting the needs, organising logistics, and delivering necessary medicines to the hospitals. And then it is touching to hear words of thanks from medical workers and messages from hospitals in the occupied territories that they have not been forgotten. Thanks to you.”
“Together we can make a difference. The Fund’s success in providing humanitarian aid to those in need showcases the positive impact that can be achieved when people come together for a shared purpose. It also reminded us of the difference we can make in creating a brighter future for all.” – comments Alyona Onishchenko, Operational Lead at “Breathe” Charity Fund.
