“Breathe” Charity Fund receives international recognition for its work

“Breathe” Charity Fund, which was initially established by the partners of Sayenko Kharenko law firm and their fellow Ukrainian businessmen, has been highly commended in the Best ESG Initiative category at The Lawyer European Awards 2022.

The Lawyer highly regarded the work of the Fund and its volunteers during the war in Ukraine. Since 24 February 2022, the Fund has transferred all charitable donations and humanitarian aid to support the Ukrainian civilian population, including refugees and Ukrainian hospitals. The Fund’s activities aim to solve today’s problems and systematically prepare for dealing with the issues that Ukraine can face. Moreover, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has recognised the “Breathe” Charity Fund as one of the 20 largest and most active funds operating in Ukraine.

The Fund’s team continue to develop relationships with companies from around the world, effectively coordinate work with many specialised charitable foundations, and actively negotiate with other organisations to support Ukraine.

“Since the first days of the war, we have done everything to bring victory closer. We have demonstrated our resilience and unity in the fight for freedom. We are grateful to our foreign partners for their support and will continue to do our best”. – operations lead Alyona Onishchenko commented.
