The results of the work of “Breathe” Charity Fund for the last week

For five months now, our country has been fighting for its freedom and right to exist. The shelling of civilian objects, casualties among the military and civilians painfully wound each of us and remind us that the war continues, and we cannot stop in helping and supporting.

Last week, the “Breathe” Charity Fund helped another field hospital with necessary equipment, medicines and consumables.

We also received the second batch of humanitarian aid, including 1,020 first-aid kits of the MFAK type, from our partners from the USA – the US-Ukraine Foundation. The Foundation supports the people of Ukraine in their quest for freedom, democracy, a free-market economy and human rights. The multi-first aid kit (MFAK) can be used on multiple people. It will look like traditional medical kits, however, it has items that will be better for traumatic injuries.

In addition, the operational leader of the Fund, Alyona Onishchenko, participated in about 20 online meetings with health care institutions of different regions of Ukraine regarding medical humanitarian aid during the war in Ukraine. The meetings were organised and facilitated by the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine on health and social policy.

The Fund has now developed relationships and effectively coordinates work with many specialised charitable foundations. We continue active negotiations with other organisations.

We heartfully thank you for supporting those who are in most need. We will continue to inform you about the distribution of aid obtained with your generous assistance.
